M/S Kaunis Veeraa risteilee Nestorinrantaan 25.6. ja 23.7. - M/S Kaunis Veera cruises to Nestorinranta on 25.06. and 23.07.

• klo 14 saapuminen Nestorinrannan venerantaan, jossa emäntä on vastassa. 1 km kävely kahvilaan, jossa iltapäiväkahvit kahvileipineen. Emäntä kertoo tarinoita Nestorista, mahdollisuus nähdä myös Nestorin haastattelu vuonna 1971 esitetystä tv-dokumentista.

Kahvila Nestori avautuu kesään 13.6.

Kahvila Nestori jälleen auki 16. elokuuta asti joka päivä klo 12 - 18. Sen jälkeenkin vielä lauantaisin ja sunnuntaisin syyskuun loppuun asti.

Juhannukseksi saamme erikoisaoluita valikoimiimme. Myös kaikkea syötävän hyvää luvassa. Emäntä oppi monenlaista uutta keväällä Lappeenrannan parhaassa ravintolassa Wolkoffissa, jossa oli työharjoittelussa. Suosittelemme Wolkoffia ja sen viinikellaria kaikille Lappeenrannan kävijöille!

Cafe Nestor open again to the middle of August every day 12-18 and after that also on Saturday-Sunday until the end of September.

Avoimet kylät -päivä 6.6. Veskansan alueella

M/S Kaunis Veera

Puumalan eteläisen saariston ympäri pääsee risteilemään Avoimet kylät -päivänä 6.6.2015: saaristomme oma laiva M/S Kaunis Veera lähtee klo 10 Niinipuun laiturista (Ylössaarentie 35, Niinisaari) kiertämään saaristoa. Paluu on samaan paikkaan klo 14. Laiva ohittaa myös Nestorinrannan johonkin aikaan päivästä. Laivalla on kahvio. Liput 25 e/aikuinen, 15 e/5-15-v. lapsi, 60 e/perhe (2 aik.+1-2 lasta).

Samana päivänä pääsee tutustumaan myös mohairvuohiin ja kaksoskileihin klo 11 - 17 Vihavalahdessa (Rukki ja Rautapata), joka on Marniemen kupeessa Luukkolasta itään. Karkiantie 451. Myös kehruunäytöstä ym. on luvassa ja ostoksiakin voi tehdä. Puhvetti.

Open village -day on 6.06. in Puumala archipelago

You can spend a day on a small ship M/S Kaunis Veera and see the archipelago on the Lake Saimaa. Departure at 10 am on the pier of Niinipuu (Ylössaarentie 35, Niinisaari) and arrival at 2 pm to the same place. The ship will go round the archipelago and it will pass also Nestorinranta in some time. There is a small cafe on board. Tickets 25 e/adult, 15 e/5-15 year old, 60 e/family of 2 adults and 1-2 kids.

On the same day you can also see mohair goats and twin goatlings at 11-17 in Vihavalahti - about 20 km from Nestorinranta, near Mariniemi, east from Luukkola (Karkiantie 451). There you can also see, how they in old days made thread from the wool. There is a small kiosk too and you can make purchases.

Nestorinrannan uusia nettisivuja on väsätty kohta vuoden - sen takia sivuillamme on roppakaupalla vanhoja tietoja - pahoittelen kovasti. Nyt alkaa kuitenkin maali häämöttää. On toiveita, että saamme lähiviikkoina uudet sivut julki!

New website of Nestorinranta has been made over a year - that is why there is a lot of old information in our site - I'm very sorry. But now the goal is near. We hope that we can publish our new site in few weeks!
